Acne Prevention :
According to American Academy of Dermatology, annually 50 million Americans  affected by Acne and globally this number is about 633 million. At least 85 percent of people in the U.S. experience acne. It’s the 8th most common disease worldwide. Acne commonly occurs in adolescence (10-19 Years). Women are mainly suffer from acne (about 80%).

Acne is a chronic, inflammatory skin condition that causes spots and pimples, especially on the face. Sometimes it effects in shoulders, back, neck, chest or upper arms. Acne increase the risk of skin cancer.

Genetics is thought to be the primary cause of acne in 80% of cases. So
those who have acne in their family should be cautious about Acne Prevention.

Acne preventive steps:
1) Acne is caused by having dirty skin and poor hygiene. Pollution particles enter the pores of your skin and clog them causing black/white heads and later, the inflamed area results in acne. Wash your face twice a day with warm water. Use special care in selecting a cleanser if your skin is dry or oily.
Dry skin can benefit from a face wash or soap that is oil-based or contains a moisturizer.
Oily skin does not usually need extra moisturizer in its cleanser. However, be careful not to go extremely drying, either. If your face feels tight after washing, the cleanser may be too harsh.


2) Use Moisturize after each face wash, choose the right moisturizer that suitable for your skin

3) Wash hands frequently, especially before applying lotions, creams, or makeup.

4) You should sleep enough. Remove makeup before sleeping. Wash your pillowcases frequently.
5) Avoid anxiety and stress, as it can increase production of cortisol and adrenaline, which exacerbate acne.
6)Avoid sharing daily things and tools with siblings who have acne.
7)Avoid touching your face, which can spread acne bacteria and cause pimples and blackheads to spread. You should also try to not pop your pimples, as well as spreading bacteria it can also leave acne scars.

8) Drink enough water (at least 8 glass or 3 liters per day) prevent acne disease. Hydrating helps your skin self-moisturize and cleanses your cells of built-up waste and will help to speed up the skin's natural rejuvenation process.

9) Take acne friendly foods: Foods containing Vitamin-A, Vitamin- E,  Zinc,  Antioxidants are helpful against acne. Example: Yellow and orange fruits and vegetables such as carrots, apricots, and sweet potatoes. Spinach and other dark green and leafy vegetables. Tomatoes, blueberries, whole-wheat bread, brown rice, quinoa, turkey, pumpkin seeds, beans, peas, lentils, nuts, salmon, mackerel, and other kinds of Omega-3 Fatty Acids fish.

10) Avoid acne-causing foods like-
carbohydrate-rich foods, Bread, Bagels, Potato Chips, Milk Chocolate, Dairy, Ice Cream, Soda, Pizza.
