☛Doctors recommend sleeping
on the left tends to calm GERD.
☛Sleep at a slight angle with the head slightly elevated. A wedge pillow that elevates the head may inhibit gastroesophageal reflux during sleep.
☛ Take your food timely but do not overeat.
☛Avoid
or take a limited of trigger foods such as spicy, acidic, or greasy foods, chocolate,
peppermint, coffee, alcohol, chocolate, fatty
foods and acidic foods(lemon juice, dairy products).
☛Stop eating 2-3 hours before sleeping.
☛Stop smoking .
☛Lose
weight if overweight.( BMI
=18.5 to 24.9 is normal.)
☛Do
not wear clothing that is tight around the abdomen.
